Event Details

Arrive at 6 PM for a tour of our wonderful library and its rich collections of books, journals, objects and archives. Then enjoy a complimentary glass of wine in the company of Keith Hiscock, MBA Associate Fellow as he leads you on a journey of discovery.

“The information that we use to identify marine protected areas, to manage them to the benefit of biodiversity and to make decisions about marine environmental protection comes from many sources and dates back to the middle of the 19th century. The presentation will track the growth of those resources from journals, books, and commissioned reports to the electronic resources that we so greatly rely on today – from someone who has ‘been there’ for the past 50 years”
