The 2017 South Devon AONB Annual Forum considers the importance of the natural environment to tourism businesses.

  • Michael Smith: When  Michael and Louisa Smith with Lee Porter, started the Venus Company business in 1995, their mission was to be the greenest beach café and shop operator. The Venus Company’s ethos is to ensure that customer’s needs are balanced carefully with environmental and social considerations.






  • Esther Kieboom: Esther is the facilitator of the Tin Coast Partnership, which aims to make tourism a more sustainable business – financially, socially and environmentally. She is an independent consultant working in the field of environmental economics.
